THE BRAND
Professional Tap Dancer Karen Callaway Williams began making shoe bags for her tap students in bright, fun colors and tempting cartoon-themed flannel fabrics because every once in a while, a student would leave a dance shoe in the car or at home. She wanted to motivate her students to be responsible for their shoes.
One little girl requested Eeyore… but I couldn’t find it in flannel. So I found the pattern in regular fabric and lined it in flannel — and the lined bags were born.
